L.A. Bluescasters wanted CD packaging to convey a moody, shadowy late-night feel. These musicians work day jobs then music takes their work into long nights, until it’s time to pack up after the show and head out the back alley of the night club to be home with their families. The guys play hard but they also wanted to exude gentleness and love, hence the script choice for the title font. I did not design their logo, but created the art for the CD jacket and disk imprint.
Jennifer’s Barkery was the independent business of an entrepreneur who prepared home-cooked meals for dogs and shipped the product to customers. She was deeply inspired by her own “kids” which I incorporated into the illustrations I created of the dogs at her home. I created labels that she could easily affix by hand as she produced the inventory to sell. Also see my Interactive, Multimedia, Live Presentation category for a commercial video and please visit the Branding category for details on the logo.
